Is Type R fun to drive : You could go further north and fork over an additional few grand for a Golf R, but the Type R is so much more involving and fun to drive. A Golf R is grown-up and mature, sure, but it's boring. I drove one and had little fun behind the wheel despite the capabilities being similar.
