Why do people love last of us?
Fans cite the power of the storyline, with its realistic moral arcs and protagonists who feel as fleshed out as any novel. Players become readily invested in Joel and Ellie's story, to the point where they may take tactically ill-advised actions because it's in character to do so.Set in a post-apocalyptic 2023, The Last of Us presents a world that's been ravaged by a pandemic caused by a fungus called “cordyceps” (terrifyingly, a real fungus), which turns its hosts into violent zombie-like creatures whose only goal is to spread the infection.Arguably, the most important aspect of the game is the complex and dynamic characters. Pascal and Ramsey do an outstanding job bringing their characters to life. The bond between Joel and Ellie is the most important aspect of the plot, so their acting and on-screen chemistry are crucial to the story's progression.

Is The Last of Us worth watching : Plot is amazing. Whole setup and CGI is amazing. I haven't completed the show yet, I'm 50% in (watch full 4 and half 5th episode) but so far the show is doing a great job. As i said it gets confusing if you're coming from a game, but so far this is by far the best show ever coming off of a game.

Why is Ellie immune

The finale implies Ellie's immunity is linked to Anna's bite on her inner thigh, corroborating a fan theory that Ellie's built-in protection against the cordyceps outbreak was the result of her mother somehow getting bitten before childbirth.

What kills Joel in The Last of Us : Abby

In the video game's sequel, “The Last of Us Part II,” Joel is shockingly murdered in the first act of the game by Abby, the daughter of the Firefly surgeon Joel killed in order to let Ellie live. Joel's death sets Ellie up on a mission of revenge against Abby.

Critics have branded The Last of Us the “greatest video game adaptation ever made” in a series of rave reviews and there's one scene that's particularly devastating that fans just can't stop talking about.

(I can't imagine binge-watching more than one episode at a time.) But for those who are up for it, it's a highly compelling and artfully crafted step forward for the zombie genre — and for television in general. “The Last of Us” turns out to be a terrific series despite its thematic similarities to “The Walking Dead.”

Is The Last of Us losing viewers

The Last of Us doesn't look like it'll be losing steam any time soon. On Sunday, 6.4M people tuned in to watch the third episode of the post-apocalyptic series across HBO and HBO Max, according to Nielsen and first party data.Ellie is the only known case of Cordyceps immunity, having been infected with a mutated benign strain. Joel has avoided infection, but it's safe to say that he's a “mere mortal”.Sadly, Ellie's immunity isn't the only thing that isn't a cure. Throughout The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II, a cure for the Cordyceps brain infection is never found, with no new possibilities popping up in the sequel.

Even though Joel acts as one of the main protagonists in the game (and is willing to keep Ellie safe), he still has many traits of a villain, such as selfishness toward people outside of his close circle and capacity for extreme violence and brutal murder all in the name of survival.

Is Last of Us worth watching : First of all, it is véry well acted by all actors. The choices are believable, the connections are believable. Secondly, the story is well told. It's not necessarily a huge new thing, although the cause of the people becoming zombie like is different, but it is very well told, and totally believable.

Was TLOU 2 a flop : The Last of Us Part II (TLOU2) had a budget of $220m but pulled in $447m in revenue to 2021, that's $227m in profit. And the Remaster isn't even out yet, plus the new HBO Show massively increased its sales too, so final sales and profit will be far higher.

The Last of Us season one was a roaring success. Season two could be a disaster.
