Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton all give great performances. It's extremely well paced.

The basic story is good but plot holes are let down. The acting was actually quite good especially for Cassel, Damon and Vikander. Tommy Lee Jones did only so-so and politically correct character played by Essandoh was ridiculous and irritating. The action sequences, locations and fast story were riveting.In addition to Renner, the film stars Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton. The Bourne Legacy is the only film in the franchise that does not feature the titular character Jason Bourne, as actor Matt Damon chose not to return due to Paul Greengrass not directing.The characters are well fleshed out which is something most action films miss out on. Bourne is an interesting person and as he finds out more so do the audience, he eventually does feel like a real spy and thanks to Damon's intense portrayal he does appear to be fighting for his life. As mentioned, Rambo has been easier to take down through up close and personal means, but he hasn't been shown as an expert fighter in the way that John Wick and his enemies have. His proficiency with setting traps is definitely impressive, but in a confined area, it'd be useless.
