Wiz: Both Kratos and Vergil were incredibly powerful and skilled warriors but Kratos had the edges in both of those areas to claim a victory. Ambiguously Gay: Virgil is believed to have been homosexual, as he created the tragic gay lovers Nisus and Euryalus in the Aeneid. He never married and was said to have loved a man named Alexander whom he writes of as Alexis in the Eclogues which has numerous references to homosexuality.Of course, Dante wins in the end (with the exception of Devil May Cry 5,) but that's mostly because of Dante's own abilities and not Vergil's lack of strength. When it comes to power, Vergil can overpower Dante reliably. Keep in mind that Vergil nearly killed Dante during their first fight in DMC1.
