Multiplayer is also good assuming you do not run into those disconnect problems. There are also rather fun mods and customizations for the game on steam workshop. I honestly recommend both AOM:EE and its chinese TotD expansion.If you are only buying one (and this is in the most literal sense) go with AOE 2, the game simply has more content and is more refined. Not a lot of people would say that the 1st game is better than the second; in this case it holds to be true.
