It's in third person so it's not as severe as a game like Doom but it's still fairly gory. I personally don't think much about sex, but I know most parents do so I'm including this here. Any mature teenager can probably handle this game.
edit: by "boring" I mean that the cut-scenes have slow pacing,they are interupting the gameplay too often and so far I have no interest in the characters and no idea what is the plot about.Despite being the third entry in the series, The Witcher 3 does not, in fact, require players to have completed its predecessors. Developers CD Projekt Red have designed the game so newcomers won't feel uninformed or ill-equipped.
