This game was designed to be played from the top down with a mouse and active strategic pausing, like the baldurs gate and icewind dale games – to which it is a spiritual successor.Yes, its kind of sucky – only human nobles have the option to marry and become king/queen. As a female elf or dwarf – you have the option of carrying on with Alistair after he's married to Anora, if you don't mind being a mistress.
