If you look at the Adobe Products catalog, you will not find XD there anymore. And the UI & UX section is also removed. It appears that Adobe decided to do this in late 2022 without making the choice public or publicizing it.6-14

Disney XD is a compelling mix of live-action and animated programming for kids age 6-14, hyper-targeting boys 7-11, transporting them into worlds of hilarious, outrageous and inspiring adventures.

Adobe Xd is currently in mainenance mode, and it's highly unlikely it will be developed further or receive any updates. Perhaps small bugfixes at best. Most people who still use Xd do so, because they were already invested in it before the Figma situation.

Will Figma replace Adobe XD : Simple answer is "No". XD is a dead tool. It has had its chance, and then Figma happened. Adobe as an inflexible and archaic behemoth of a company proved unable to keep up and predictably attempted a buy-out instead.
