English C2 is the highest English proficiency level, meaning it's the most difficult to achieve. In general, you can only get there if you live the life of a native speaker. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to move to an English-speaking country.Your mastery at the C2 level lets you produce and understand highly complex German. This is close to native-level German fluency. Even accents from different parts of the German-speaking world don't throw you off.

C2 level is the second stage of the CEFR 'proficient [language] user' category. At this level, the student should be able to read, understand and write any type of document, even specialised texts like academic articles. They will also be able to express themselves as well as a native speaker.
