I consider AOE2DE far better than AOE3DE. I won't say you are wrong, just that we have different play styles and preferences. Mostly cause the AoE III has much more different playing style with the home cities and cards. They're not really comparable imo.How to Access. This is surely the best way to experience a classic and beloved game. Age of Empires III Definitive Edition is a major upgrade to the original even though its gameplay shows its age.

I think its fair to say that the game is actually doing quite well, with over 17-20k players on average daily. and that's not even counting the amount of players from Xbox Pass, as well as console from Crossplay, so AOE4 is actually one of the biggest RTS already.
