Every total war ever has been too easy frankly. Warhammer is worse though because you can build insane super stacks. Regardless the A.I. needs to be more hostile. I know it was a 'fix' when they got rid of anti player bias, but now the challenge is gone.
Warhammer 3 has a prologue that will help you learn the basics, You can then start a campaign on the easiest difficulty to figure out things.
