We did the ESB on a Saturday night so I knew it would be busy but I was a little underwhelmed. Anyhow TOTR during the day is superb, especially if you're blessed with clear conditions.You can spend around 1-2 hours at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. It's recommended to spend at least 45 minutes to an hour on the outdoor observation deck and an additional 30 minutes to an hour on the art installations and exhibits.
