What is the difference between Stronghold Crusader and Stronghold Crusader 2 : Its a very huge difference. Crusader 2 is more like the older strongholds without that many popularity buildings and things like thievs, rats or junk. There are less goods to produce and you can not look into your towers or castle ceep or church like in stronghold 2.

Stronghold Crusader was the best so far. It provided endless fun especially in the custom matches. The Campaign was never too good in my opinion in any of the Strongholds. However, playing against the AI or friends really was fun.Arguably, the best choice for a beginning player would be to start with the Castle Builder, as you will not be pitted against an opponent. Now, the most important thing to get a grasp of in Stronghold is getting your resources and putting civilians to good use.It looks wonderful, plays like a dream and deserves a place in the games collection of any self-respecting strategy fan immediately. It's hard! On the plus side, it is not frustratingly so, as with some dedicated play, most gamers will likely find it to be a rewarding challenge. When focusing on the main objectives, Crusader Kings III is about 71 Hours in length.
