Can you be good at art without talent?
Just like other mediums, art has an element of skill and requires practice. If you fail to learn and practice, you will obviously lack the requisite skill to become a great artist.Danny Gregory has taught thousands of people to overcome the “talent myth” and start drawing. “Learning to draw is like learning to drive a car,” says Danny. So, “you just need a few basics and a bit of practice.” He makes the learning clear and the practice simple. While some people may be more naturally gifted than others, there are many famous artists who have overcome any lack of natural talent through sheer determination and practice. So if you've ever wanted to learn to paint or draw, don't be discouraged!

Is drawing a born talent : Drawing is both a talent and a skill. Some people may have a natural aptitude or talent for drawing, which can give them a head start in learning. However, talent is not a requirement to become proficient at drawing. Drawing skills can be developed through practice, learning, and dedication.

Is art just a skill

Art has elements of SKILL, just like learning to write an essay has techniques, or playing football has techniques. If you never learn those basic skills and steps, then of course you will have limited skill! But, if your education incorporates those techniques and skills, you will become more skillful.

Is art a hard skill : Art skills are defined as hard skills because of the technical abilities (technical knowledge) you need to learn in order to create it.

In short, the essential qualities that create art are intrinsic to the person, and not learned. Skills that can be learned, however, play an important role in the creation of art. The better the artist knows his skills, and the more options he has at his disposal, the more satisfactory the end result is likely to be.

The natural ability to draw and paint is ingrained in some people, too. But not all of us are gifted with an innate artistic sense, and I don't think talent cancels out the equally important willingness and desire to steep yourself in and truly perfect your craft.

Is being good at art genetic

Genetics may play a role in creativity, but the choice to make art and be creative matters more. Creativity in all forms – art, music, writing – is so complex that it's hard to pinpoint its source. A recent study of humans and song birds revealed that musical ability may, in fact, have a genetic determinant. These forces include environment, personal belief systems, contact or absorption of foreign cultures and ideas. Art educators believe artists are born and made. Artists born with artistic capabilities must be developed through training, teaching and development of interest in the arts.Art skills are defined as hard skills because of the technical abilities (technical knowledge) you need to learn in order to create it.

Creativity is a trait with heavy genetic influences, which are also associated with mental disorders and altruism. Associated genes include dopaminergic, serotoninergic and other genes (a1-antitrypsin, neuregulin, Brain-derived neurotrophic factor).

Do artistic people have higher IQ

Early studies investigating the relationship between intelligence and creativity showed that highly creative individuals are also of higher intelligence (Barron, 1963, 1969; Getzels & Jackson, 1962).

The IQ,of the artistically superior was found to be well above average at high school level by Tiebout and Meier (1936). They also found that, while successful artists had superior intelligence, their ranking as artists and their ranking on intelligence were not particularly correlated. If you're like me and have asked yourself if it's possible to become a professional concept artist without attending any school that could teach you all the techniques and what you need to do in that job, the answer is: Yes.

Do artists have good IQ : Many successful artists have average or even below-average IQ scores. Artistic talent often involves creativity, emotional intelligence, and a unique perspective, which are not solely determined by IQ. With dedication, practice, and a passion for their craft, anyone can become a good artist regardless of their IQ.
